Indeed! While practicing law, I do collect and process your personal data. Those of your representatives, associates, and employees as well. Actually, these data are often not even confined to those usually necessary for the purposes of communicating and doing business with you, such as your name and surname, telephone number, email address, age, residence, profession, family status, education, financial status, ID, tax, and social security numbers, bank account numbers, etc. Most of the times they extend themselves to your “sensitive” personal data, since they concern your civil and commercial relations, your participation to any unions, or entities, your health status, your social security status, even your sexual life, or any criminal, or disciplinary investigations, proceedings, or convictions against you, or your financial duties, difficulties, or debts. These data however are strictly confined to those you yourselves deemed appropriate to entrust me with, while their processing takes place strictly for the purposes of my practice, and of fulfilling your mandates. Rest assured that I will not disclose your data to any third party, insofar it is not necessary for fulfilling your mandates, or my own fiscal duties. Whenever you ask me to, I will allow you due access to any of your personal data collected by me, I will rectify them, restrict their processing according to your wishes, or even erase them and stop processing them, as long of course as the law and my own fiscal duties allow me. You merely have to notify me through email at [email protected]. As long however as you choose not to do so, I shall obviously consider that you continue to trust in my discretion and allow me to lawfully collect and process your personal data.
